PRESIDENT'S FORUM

Greetings,

I thank all of our members for the continuing support of myself and the rest of the Executive Board members. I am extremely proud to a member of this outstanding Motorcycling Organization, the Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club and Texas Chapter XII.  I have been a member of the Blue Knights LE MC for several years and was one of the founding members of Chapter 12 and organizer of Texas XXV. Originally I joined the Blue Knights via San Antonio's BK Texas Chapter 4, and I also spent a few months with Texas Chapter 21 out of Waxahatchi,Texas until twelve local Blue Knights living in the San Antonio, Bexar County, Helotes, Fair Oaks, Schertz, Texas areas successfully organized and chartered the Great Texas XII Helotes Chapter, continuing the Blue Knight traditions and establishing an outstanding reputation of our own while  continuing to grow as a great fraternal group and positive force in the community. I have particularly enjoyed the riding aspects, the incredible friendships, and unique camaraderie that go hand in hand with being a member of the largest law enforcement motorcycle club in the world; the "Blue Knights."

So as we go forward into 2009-2010 as we have these past years, work hard to get back to the basics of our club that includes riding more, and supporting each of our members at every opportunity. This will be a good year to get to know your brothers and sisters even better, and bring our many other law enforcement agencies into a sense on uniformity of purpose as we strive to meet our common goals understanding each ageny's perspectives and concerns, and being better Cops. We have Chapter members and Road Captains ready to ride at the drop of a hat, ready to impart their safety expertise, group riding protocols, and help our less experienced riders become more proficient and safe. They are only a telephone call away and always willing to help. A few of them even know a little something about motorcycle mechanics and would be glad to help out personally or get you pointed in the right direction if there are other issues needing attention. I urge you to use the telephone / e-mail rosters that will be supplied to each member and reach out to each other regularly, even if just a quick line to say hello, set up a lunch run, or simply ride for stress relief.

The Rio Grande Conference (RGC) is one of the biggest and most important event for the Blue Knights International organization. Every member should take pride in this organization and make an effort to attend.

We always welcome other Riders and Clubs to join us on our various rides and to participate in most of our events, so long as they all understand that we take motorcycle safety very seriously as a primary prerequisite to any function. To our brothers, associate clubs, friends... please continue to inform us of your fund raisers and benefits so we can return the support you have shown us, and thereby help make your events as successful as possible. I too am always available and can be contacted for assistance wildbill3101@att.net. I and the members of the Texas Chapter 12 Executive Board look forward to hearing from each of you, working in your best interest, and maintaining effective lines of communication so our chapter remains "Our" Chapter collectively.

Welcome to our Chapter's Website. I am proud to serve as Club Treasurer. It is an honor to serve as a member of the Blue Knight's Chapter XII staff, but more so, belonging to a group of law enforcement professionals that are humble enough to look beyond their own existence, and heed the call of community service, on and off duty for the benefit of others. Between the planning phase begining in January of 2005 to date, this Chapter has attracted the best and brightest in the business and at a record pace. I look forward to the follow two years as the elected Treasurer, and will attend to those responsibilties that have been entrusted to my office. Thank you Blue Knights Chapter XII brothers and sisters.

Chapter XII is here for you!!!!  We invite South Texas civic groups and businesses to join us as partners in our mutual endeavors for community projects and to come out and ride with a group of bikers that strive to make each ride beneficial and fun for everyone. Similar to other LE MC's, we honor traditions and the tenants of our International and RGC affiliation. We view and value our members as a cohesive goup of equals with respect for each person's opinions and personality, which strengthens and creates the unique character of South Texas' newest and finest Chapter of the Blue Knight Law Enforcement International Motorcycle Club. I commit myself to the the duties and responsibilites of Treasurer and will serve to the best of my ability availing myself to the service of my brothers and sisters. I am proud to belong to this strong and devoted brotherhood, the Blue Knight LE MC Family. I too am extremely proud of the founding members of this Club as well as the newest members who are planning to or have committed to joining up with us very soon. Come on in brothers, the water's fine! As one member of this Chapter's Executive Board and fellow club member, I too encourage you to contact us via e-mails, at events, or at a future ride. So check your air pressure, remove the cobwebs off your scooter, and join us for some unbelievable times and FUN! We take pictures at all rides and post them in the pic's galleries published here.  We'd all be proud to include you as our newest member or as one of our most special guests! We don't use the term special guest loosely. If a Chapter XII member invites a non-member to join us for any occassion, we consider that a very high and special honor....for us, and treat our guests appropriately. So friends, keep your face to the wind and the rubber side down...Ride with Pride! Please leave your comments, suggestions or e-mails, by simply clicking on e-mail link below!

Welcome everyone, and thank you for visiting the Blue Knights Texas Chapter XII Website. As the Blue Knights Chapter 12 Sgt at Arms, We commit ourselves to the welfare of the organization by maintaining the smooth flow of processes at each meeting and insuring that the agendas set out for each session are accomplished in a timely manner. I shall strive to facilitate all objectives while avoiding any wasted time and energy, which is extremely precious to every one in attendance to club meetings. We are a diverse group of professional police officers serving with various agencies and shifts, therefore each person's time committment is valuable.  Our goals then shall be to serve the Blue Knights LE MC through constructive time management and of course keeping order through obvious direction,  for the expedient delivery of information by the Executuve Board. My most important task however is the security of the members while on the road, at club sanctioned events, or by disseminating information to the membership of importance concerning safety issues and potential threats  Our collective offices also call for the evaluation and delivery of club related reports, input and output, and the accomplishment of all proposed club business matters, allowing for adequate time to the development and maintainance of fellowship and the enjoyment of an fraternal association. We look forward to the next two years of service with the the Blue Knight's Law Enforcement International Motorcycle Club, and in particular Chapter 12. It is an honor and a priveledge to serve. Thanks! Each meeting will have a stated agenda, and will be e-mailed to me at least three days before each meeting by the chapter's Secretary, Vice President, or the President. If you have an item that you would like to add to that agenda, please contact "Wild Bill" current website administrators or call  210-207-7663 for quicker service. We shall normally e-mail that updated agenda to all staff members and by bulk e-mail to everyone, so that the entire chapter is aware of the topics set for that next meeting. This process will allow for pre-meeting input by those who will not be able to attend, and receive feedback with regard to votes, and data necessary to finalize any issues on the table, and avoid wasted time. We all sincerely hope that everyone can attend all monthly meetings, rides, or other events, but we also understand the constraints of time, shifts, days off, late calls, and the tremendous responsibilities of home and family. Your e-mail or phone input therefore is a valuable tool and a second best way for each member to keep his vote and influence strong, and a vital part of all club matters. You'll always be welcomed when you attend any function and will always be a major part of this chapter, THAT IS OUR PLEDGE!!!!!
I am very proud to be one of this chapter's 12 founding members and look forward to meeting the talented new Law Enforcement members coming to Chapter 12 soon. As a founding member, I encourage all Law Enforcement motorcycle enthusiasts to contact us and consider membership with this great family oriented club. We would be proud to call you a fraternal brother or sister. We're Blue Knights TX XII. Ride with Pride!

Greetings all, and thanks for visiting our website and little corner of the World Wide Web. The Blue Knights Texas Chapter 12 Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club is made up of outstanding Law Enforcement Officers from various Municipal, County, State, and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies, Task Forces, and also include our Military Law Enforcement Agencies. We range in rank from Patrolman all the way up to Chiefs of Police in our chapter. We have several of them high ranking rascals in our Chapters and they too call San Antonio, Helotes, and BKTX XII home. I am so proud to have served as this chapter's first President and founding member, to have helped orgainize it from scratch, and with the other original 11 other members successfully applied for and chartered this great Chapter which is growing by leaps and bounds. Our chapter is now over 70 strong and we are reviewing applications from various more great Officers who also want to belong to this great organization, one of the Blue Knight International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club's finest chapters. We are Chapter XII.  We stand proud of our Law Enforcement Profession, proud to be 99% ers, proud to protect and serve, of being hardcore motorcycle riders, promote motorcycle safety, and we care about the welfare of our membership. We have raised many thousands of dollars for charity, our local military hospital BAMC, support our wounded soldiers, and of course our local disabled and sick children. We do so by partnering with the various law enforcement agencies in our region, and Blue Knight citizen supporters, Fire Fighter motorcyclists, many other 99% er MC's, businesses, and many of our great friends. As the Original first President, I will now serve as the Immediate Past President for BKTX XII, as well as one of the chapter's Recruiters. As the Immediate Past President, I can vote on important matters that require a collective vote at our regional level; "Rio Grande Conferrence," and at our International level. I recently retired from the San Antonio Police Department serving last as a Supervisor with the Downtown Bike Patrol Unit. So look around our website, we hope you enjoy your visit inside these various informative web pages and our BKTX12 Face Book pages. I can be reached by the e-mail link below! Take care and stay safe!  Oh yes, many have asked why our chapter is so popular and why we continue to grow as we have. They want to know what our philosophy about membership is all about. Our answer is simple; "We don't care what kind of Motorcycle you ride so long as it will keep up, is safe, and meets all state licensing requirements. We feel that you're a professional Peace Officer, something extremely difficult to have achieved, something few can accomplish, and as such you deserve to make that selection yourself unlike many other clubs that dictate so things unecessarily. It's your bike and your choice, so long as you can ride it safely and considerately. Thatt said, if this meets with your taste and own mind set, you're home!  We understand that you can't make every event, meeting, or ride. We understand that God, Country, Family, and work have higher priorities. Therefore, when you can join your Blue Knight family, you and your immediate family will always be welcomed with open arms to all venues. We support our Blue Knights and all other Blue Knight Chapters and love our families and country too! That's pretty much it! Good enough reasons to choose Chapter 12 don't you agree?

VICE PRESIDENT'S FORUM

I am honored to have been voted in as your new Chapter Vice President for term 2010-2011. As your new VP, I will to do everything in my power to to continue to build upon a great organization and to serve the membership.   I will work closely with everybody in order to make sure that we do more for members and hopefully increase participation.  For example, organize more picnics, more rides, lunches, and any think else that the membership thinks may build cohesion and teamwork.

I look forward to many miles of fun and laughs this year.  In the process, I hope we can recruit more members to share good times with.   Count me in to help  with anything I can.  Please do not hesitate to contact me with your interests, questions or concerns.  I'd like to hear what you have to say!
