Dianna L. Bowers, age 52 of San Antonio passed away November 15, 2009 leaving behind her life long companion Mark "Suitcase" Williams with whom she shared her love and life. Dianna was born November 6, 1957 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James T. and Thelma J. (Kauffman) Carroll. She had served with the Balcones Heights Police Department and was a Sergeant with the Public Safety Department at Our Lady of The Lake University.

Heneco Vega of San Antonio, Texas died April 4, 2011. He was born to Vicente and Frances Vega of Rocksprings, Texas on April 6, 1959. He attended Rocksprings High School playing sports and joined the Army in 1977 where he traveled to Korea,Hawaii and California. While in Rocksprings he managed a deer processing facility. He loved hunting and fishing, riding motorcycles, playing the guitar and helping others, even making a trip to Mexico with Dr. Allen on a mission trip. He was a correctional officer in the Dominguez Unit in San Antonio for ten years and before that worked at Torres Unit in Hondo, Texas for two years. He was also president and founder of the motorcycle club known as the Iron Guard. They did numerous charity works around San Antonio on behalf of the children less fortunate and ill. Heneco married Adelfa Arispe on December 5, 1980 and they had five children. He is preceded in death by brother Vicente Vega, Jr., niece Ana Delia Vega and grandmother Nico Avila. Survivors include his wife, Adelfa Vega of San Antonio; daughters, Erica Towns and husband Cassius of Fort Hood, Texas, Tonya Nieto and husband Ean of San Antonio and Erminia Vega of San Antonio; sons, Heneco Vega, Jr. and wife Maggie of Rocksprings and Chris Vega and wife Jocelyn of San Antonio; grandchildren, Maleka, Drake, Mahayla, Eric, Frances, Jadyn, Ethan, Seth, Andrew and Natalia; great-grandchild, Aiden Angel; parents, Vicente and Frances Vega of Rocksprings; brothers, Humberto and wife Dale of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Daniel and wife Maria of Dallas, Texas and one sister, Odelia Vega of Dallas and nephews, Robert Vega and Belen Vega. Heneco's final gift was to donate his corneas and liver. Pallbearers, William Ramirez, Daniel Hernandez, Shawn Hernandez, John Castillo, Mathew Hollenbeck, Jason Garcia, Arnulfo Jimenez and Roger Santos. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Rocksprings, Texas at 11:00 a.m., with Father Tu Nguyen officiating. Interment followed in the Rocksprings Cemetery.
